Join us in the journey!

It is not often that we receive the opportunity to create and perform our art...let alone do so Internationally.

Dick & Jayne Get A Life will perform May 26-30th at Prague Fringe Festival 2015.

JAYNE and DICK rehearsing

We're the only play from Los Angeles accepted. We find that thrilling.

We're collaborating and teaming with A Broad's Way Productions based in Prague, to bring this awesomely unfunny, funny play to the Fringe. While we're casting locally in Prague for most of the roles (YAY!) we have to get our director and producer and Dick & Jayne to Prague. And cover some production props, like Dick's microphone and Jayne's pregnancy tests.

Will you help us?

THANK YOU!

About Harlem's Awakening novella:

“Author Peppur Chambers brings to life 1940’s America with her debut novel, Harlem’s Awakening, following the unsettling journey of eighteen-year old Harlem Markeson as she desperately tries to reinvent herself in New York. With believable characters such as the conniving Sisters Ruth and Mary, the ruthless Lady Magdalena, and the mysterious Brown Betties, Peppur has created a seedy underworld where each character fights to unburden their deepest secrets.Harlem’s Awakening marks a strong debut and an irresistible read.”

Dick & Jayne Get A Life...In PRAGUE!

That's International, YO!

Dick & Jayne has been accepted into the 13th Annual Fringe Festival Praha in May 2014!

We consider ourselves ambassadors as we're the only show from LA and the only from the state of California!

We're so stoked to share this story of an unfunny comedian and pregnant, self-proclaimed f*ck up with an International audience. What an honor!

A CrowdTilt campaign has been created in honor of this honor :) Will you support us? In fact, will you join us? If you've got it like that, why not come to the show? It will be fun!

$5 or $500, no amount is too small or will be denied! Support here .

Watch our VIDEO with popcorn.

THANK YOU!

L.A. Theatre Ticket Giveaway for “The Build Up” on Sunday June 9

We have a special free thing to do in L.A. for theatre fans — we’re giving away tickets to a unique, audience involved play for Sunday, June 9, that’s staged at a secret location! Three Peas Productions presents “The Build Up,” a play about a girl, a guy and a live band and the audience follows the action from room to room. Where these rooms are, I don’t even know, because the play’s private location is a secret until you take a free shuttle to get there!

Not only will you get two free tix to the play (value $50), but there is a reception before the play where free wine and beer is served! How’s that for an inexpensive mystery date?!

Here’s how the giveaway works: Answer this trivia question: “What fairytale launched Carol Burnett’s career?”

You can answer and enter the giveaway four ways:
1. Comment with the answer on this blog post.
2. Tweet the answer to @FreeFunLA along with this sentence: “I’ve entered the @FreeFunLA ticket #giveaway to see The Build Up! http://wp.me/p1h61p-14n #ThreePeas”

You will be given the private location once you board the shuttle service. The shuttle runs 6:30 – 7pm. Reception is 6:45 – 7:15pm
If you win the tickets, we will need your name to give to Three Peas Productions so they can let you in at the door to the play. If you don’t win, consider buying tickets to see this mysterious play. Purchase Here.
